Peach Orchard Road #3

A familiar scene in much of southwestern Georgia: a hard-packed clay road, shaded by the branches of old oak trees.

I wondered how long this road existed, and how many had passed below the embracing arches, on their way to what the day held for them…

Incorporated in 1870, Boston was originally a stagecoach stop long before the settlement moved locations to capitalize on the opportunities the new railroad presented. A quaint enclave boasting a number of historic churches and period homes, it also is home to a Carnegie Library.

This makes a great statement printed on lustre paper, surrounded by white and tumbleweed-colored mats, and wrapped in a mocha frame. The example below is 20×20”.
