Hopefully a rose aficionado will set me straight, but I believe this is a Dream Come True grandiflora rose (although it may be a Rio Samba).
This captivating bloom was in the rose garden of what is likely my favorite state park in Florida - Washington Oaks Gardens State Park. Its boundaries are the Matanzas River on the west, and an Atlantic shoreline exposing unique coquina rock formations to the east, and between lie the citrus groves and formal gardens that were the vision of Mrs. Louise Clark Young, wife of a chairman of General Electric and RCA.
This park is between St. Augustine and Daytona Beach, and is worth visiting more than once.
