New Hope Road
Thomas County, GA
New Hope Road
A common scene in much of the Red Hills region of south Georgia and north Florida: a clay road with a cathedral of old oak trees.
To me, this road embodies the enduring power of effective travel routes that serve all that trek upon it .
Established in the 1820s to connect the region east of Thomasville to Tallahassee, New Hope Road remains a vital route for the area's historic plantations and rural homesteads.
A print on archival paper (with a deckled edge floating in a barnwood frame as shown as 16×20” for $475), or an acrylic print on a dibond backing will display the range of colors and tones well.
