Accentuated by my use of an ultra-wide angle lens, this close up of the horizontal stabilizer and elevator of this Stearman plays with light, color, and patterns.
I’ve been fascinated by airplanes since I was a kid. I’ve been very fortunate to have earned my private pilot license, and been exposed to a number of flying opportunities and terrific people in the aviation world.
This Boeing-Stearman Model 75 was one of about 10,000 built as primary trainers for a variety of armed forces during World War II.
